A little about my journey…
My name is Greg, and I created Exhale Mentoring because I know what it feels like when life changes in a single moment. When I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer at 28 years old, fear hit me first — the kind that steals your breath and makes the world feel unreal. Then came the confusion: the appointments, the medical language, the decisions that felt impossible to make when my mind was still trying to catch up. I remember feeling overwhelmed, unsteady, and unsure where to turn.
As I moved through treatment, I discovered something I didn't expect: resilience. Not the loud, heroic kind — the quiet strength that shows up on the days you think you have nothing left. The strength that whispers, "Just take the next breath." That resilience carried me through the darkest moments, and it taught me that healing isn't just physical. It's emotional, mental, and deeply human.
Along the way, I also learned how isolating serious diagnoses can be. People often feel lost in the medical system, unsure how to navigate the emotional weight and the practical realities at the same time. I saw how much difference it makes to have someone who truly understands, someone who can sit with the fear, help untangle the confusion, and reflect back the strength you can't always see in yourself.
That's why I founded Exhale Cancer Coaching. This is a space where you can breathe again — where you can talk openly, feel understood, and find steady, encouraging support through diagnosis, treatment, and the unpredictable moments in between. I offer guidance rooted in lived experience, compassion, and clarity. I don't replace your medical team; I walk beside you as you navigate the emotional and practical challenges that come with serious illness.
Whether you're facing cancer, epilepsy, or another life‑changing diagnosis, you don't have to go through it alone. Together, we'll steady your mind, clarify your path, and help you reconnect with the resilience that's already inside you — one breath, one conversation, one step at a time.
This is Exhale Cancer Coaching. A place to breathe. A place to steady. A place to rise.
